Now that summer is here, does anyone know if it is possible to retrofit air-con to a 463. If so who would do this and what sort of cost. Would it mean the installation of a seperator blower inside the G or can they link up to existing vents.

Thanks

Ravin

retrofit A/C

Generally its cheaper to sell the car and find one with A/C. But if your determined it can be done at a price – probably silly money though. Diavia used to do them for the 460s – you might try searching for them

I need the gas changing in my Air con as it's running low but it's the old type that enjoys eating the ozone layer - how do i go about this? is it just a case of changing the gas or is it more complex? any idea on places / costs?
Sorry for taggin on the bottom of this thread but i can't find the answer on here (although i know it is...)

It’s a matter of having it converted to use the newer non Freon stuff – as to cost I think its around a couple of hundred – don’t quote me on that though. I auto A/C place would do it.

I have a WDB124 in Miami and that was running on the new stuff and was useless so I managed to get it filled with R12 and now its works well – cant get R12 in Europe anymore – could try China or Mexico…..
