my g was leaking????? could not find the sourse
Do you mean the engine oil? There is no way that oil from anywhere else can find its way in to the engine.
The front Diff can leak down to the swivel housings but that’s about all.
I get about 2000 miles to a litre on my old 280 and I am quite happy with it.
What sort of mileage are you getting with no drop in level?
Have you checked the diff oil level – they only hold 2litres. Also diff oil is quite thick and foul smelling and wont get all black ad cruddy like engine oil.
I guess you will have to trace the drips back.
the oil is very black on the floor and it apears quite clean on the dip ill check the diffs again ill try to trace back but tried that once and cant seem to locate the sourse what about from the gearbox or the bell housing ? cheers for the help though

no milage jeep has been sat still im replacing the back quaters and back door , oil all over the floor but no drop in level on the dip stick only do about 400 miles a year , anyway
