I'm sure handbook says ATF for the manual gearbox (mine), just I could only find Merc equivalent in 20 liters and the gearbox only holds 1.5.Or is any DExtron 2 stuff ok?

dont have any experience in manuals but dextron 11 (2) is ok for mercs, there are better oils like morrisons but if you look on the back of dextron 11 it will give you a code for mercs i,e. Does anyone have a handbook handy to show the code its 3 numbers dot then 1 number.

castrol syntrax is a fully synthetic oil which can be obtained from halfords. read the spec sheet on castrols web site- it out performs all other atf.s. iv'e used it for about 2 years with no problems its a superb product. :D :D
