Fitting wider wheels on carrier
I've just done a small cheap mod on my spare wheel carrier, to carry my larger wheels on the back door I cut off the original bolts and welded on longer bolts and then wound on a nylock to adjust how far the wheel needs to be away from the door and used the existing nuts to clamp the wheel up. It hasn’t fallen off so far!
