hello,

after a week away i have thought of some things i would like to do to my g.

firstly - i am sure i have heard it mentioned on here before, it involves mounting the spare wheel so that it faces outwards with the alloy showing, is it just a bracket replacement or a awkward job?

secondly - the rear hedrests make the cabin not look so spacy if you know what i mean. is there a way of adding the headrests without purchasing whole new seats?

any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Tom,
To add the head rests w/o getting new seats, you may need to get the seats re-upholstered as it will involve removing your present fabric and welding the head rest mounts to a bracket inside. I have personally done this and it looks fab. Got the head rests from the scrappies and changed the fabric to match on those too. This plus changing the all seats to leather and to all the door planels, extra pull on PVC protection covers all around for offroad bashing, new plastic floor mats and new leather boots for the gears shafts + a few other cosmetic fixes put me back nearly ?650. FYI, I haven't seen the end result yet as it will only be ready sometime next week.
