Warn m8000 will work in light stuff, if your loaded and well stuck, you will have to snatch x2 or x 3 and have 2 batteries to cope with the load.

M8000 is a lowline winch for light stuff but not for heavy recovery. and guess what, a g is bloody heavy, been there had a M8000, now have hydraulic, they would have pulled down the twin towers, except someone else did that.

Thanks Peter, it look like I am going for a hand turfor instead, I'm not to sure I can cope with all the extra weight of a bigger winch on the front, and then what about the back?

I'll be able to hook a turfor front or back, it will be slow, but I will get me out and I'm not planning a race through Africa.
