On that one, two men have taken it to the European Court of Human Rights, claiming that their proscution is in breach of same as they have been asked to imcriminate themselves by stating who was driving.
I did always wonder about that aspect of camera proscutions.

I am so paranoid I have diffusers fitted,the odds are doing 40-50K a year I will get zapped but so far so good.It does feel good when the sensor goes off and you know it could have meant points for as little as 3mph over the limit. :lol:

Cracking gadget that diffuses the laser beam that targets your vehicle.Uses infra red light to disrupt the frequency and stop you getiing nicked,Legal to buy not legal to use. I dont know what it is???????? honest officer.
Cany figure how infra red can interfer with laser, different wavelengths and all that, but if it works and I presume there a few of them out there, that may be why they are installing "elapsed time" cameras then, short of rotating number plates i cannot see how they can be beaten -- oh except that they will require the registered owner to state who was driving, fingers crossed.
There are to my knowledge very few fixed speed camers in the province -- but far TOO many real policemen with hairdriers and lasers.
