I need a starter motor and have been told a 307D van starter is compatible at a much better price. If so, where would I get the best deal on one of these, or how do I find what I need instead and where best to get it?

why not go to your nearest auto electician for a exchange, £90ish, why did it go, is the solenoid full of oil, if it is you need to solve this problem first, or the starter will last a week.

It seems it's not the starter motor but the column lock that's falling apart so that sometimes it works and sometimes not.. I'm being advised to replace column lock and ignition switch - do you know where I might get these?

I'm also needing a Solenoid for the rear door electrics and would be grateful for help in getting one of these too. Xtn
