I,m after some springs. Mine have been on for 19 yrs thought it might be time to change them. Want to raise the height a bit. Whats involved I don,t want to go too mad.

I got some replacements from the people in G Wizz, v cheap. I guess ORC is also an option.

I have just fitted springs from G class centre. They are tapered steel, just like the original Merc ones and the give you a bit of a lift. They are great. For the price of 4 Merc springs you can put springs, shocks and a tank of petrol in if you buy it from them.

Word of advice: don’t buy the Halfords spring compression kit to get the old ones out. Russ’s trick with ratchet straps work far better.
