The ITC Light is on!
Dear all members,
I Don't have the G manuel and anyone can tell me what the meaning of the "ITC" light in the panel?

Forgive me for asking this but are you sure it is ITC and not EDC?
Sorry, can you describe it a little better? Also, in which of the three Gs you own is that light?

Is "ITC" and it appear in my 2000 290GD.

Yes you are correct, we got one in ours 1998 290 GD ( I just looked ) it flashes on briefly when the ignition is turned on, then goes off, I will look at the handbook once home this evening.

Thanks Marcus, the "ITC" on when ignition is turned on, but it didn't turn off even the car is running.
Also would like to know u how to get the handbook? where u buy it from?

I will attempt to scan and post on here pm today, we have the technolgy, I am not however, so sure about the "knowhow".

OK we will try the scanning after,
but ITC = intercooler.
if light stays on the chargeair temperature temp is below -30 degree or above 110 degree, OR the intercooler coolant level is too low. So first check if there is coolant in the intercooler resevoir.If there is take it to Mr Benz, or someone who knows about intercooler systems.

Thanks Marcus, i will tell my techican to check the intercooler, i think in hong kong only 30+ G on the road, so not much people know how to fix!

my Vehicles model is 2000 290GD, 1991 300GE and 1986 230GE
