Hi guys

Anyone know (or have links) whether it's possible and reasonably straightforward to fit an M103 + autobox (3litre, 1988) into a 460 LWB?

I'm still searching for my first gee but am having trouble getting rid of a canny 300SE, and am now considering breaking it (which i think is completely ridiculous, but I have to do something with it). She's got a great engine & box (I know, I rebuilt the 'head etc!!).

Have tried the search facility with little success, it just may give me options, and a way into gee ownership (i love the straight six motor!!)

Thats a good idea for a conversion the 103 engine is sweet should be good, one thing (you probably thought of already) the 103 engine from a G wagen has a different oil scavenger to cope with steep inclines, check that the 300 SE engine is capable of tilting that far otherwise your new project might seize up first time you go off road!.
