Living in France i do see an awful lot of P4s as the army are always on manœuvres in this area but today I took a trip to the beautiful Auvergne region and was surprised to see a 461 (I presume) In EDF Blue and livery followed by an Unimog cherry picker in the same.
Probably because it is in the heart of the range of mountains called the 'massif central' and EDF will need to go remote areas 8) No photo soz I was on the move at the time

Not surprisingly... the P4 was reserved for the military plus firefighters and local police but other than that, very few civilians.

The vast majority of civilian Gs in France will therefore be Mercedes.
