Do you still have the original mercedes leads on your car? If so you can replace just the end piece (unscrews from lead) I took my car for a tune up and they broke one of the ceramic parts so I replaced the whole set of leads on a 6 cylinder 190E, Found out later that you can buy the cap part from Merc quite cheaply DOH!!

Re: ignition leads...............

When I went to the dealer to ask about the price for a new set (M103 300GE) they advised that they are no longer made, but they can make some for me. Once they worked out the price it was cheaper to get them from outside. The only problem was finding someone who stocked the bosch set, as they were very hard to come by.
