Window motor
Hello All
Having removed my window motor and slider I find it works fine on the bench. When I connect back up to vehicle power supply just a click then nothing except motor gets warm. Back to the bench and all O.K. When trying on vehicle I only plug in so definately nothing restricting the slider. I will be grateful for any ideas please :?: .
Hi sounds like the window guides are dirty of not aligned properly rgds
What G have you got?
Are you saying that the motor works on the bench but not when plugged into the G's window plug? That would indicate a poor power supply from the switch to the motor.ie something amiss in the electrics of the G not the motor.
I have a spare s/h motor for a 463 passenger front which is perfectly servicable.

We met at Merves 15 months ago.
I've got an 89 300gds brown if you remember. Yes the motor works better when on the bench but still gets tired and stops after 60 seconds, at least I guess it's the motor as the window mech. is clean ond slides well so most likely not the cause. I hope your one is the same as mine Bosch 12v 0 130 821 069. passenger side. Drivers window works O.K.

Thanks fixwin38 but motor does not work even when outside the door, just gets warm. Can these motors be serviced or anybody got a replacement :?:
