Re: FUEL GUAGE

Good procedure to fix this:
1)Shape right hand into fist
2)Position said fist approx 1ft above gauge panel/housing
3)Swiftlty and with some force, bring fist down onto gauge panel/housing

Re: FUEL GUAGE

I,ve found this technique works with my rev counter, also I vary the approach sometimes and aim straight through steering wheel with same force.

Re: FUEL GUAGE

Hi Hus I am working on same problem today..remove rear carpet and the four screws from the access panel in the centre of the floor.you will observe two wires attached to the sender. if you bridge the terminals with the wires attached you should get a full scale deflection on the fuel guage pointer.that proves the guage...remove the wires from the terminals and clean terminal ends and terminal posts re-instal and check guage reading...if no response you must remove the sender from the fuel tank and check the slide movement and if any wires are broken.if so repair and re-instal all should work correctly rgds
