I have been looking at your web site on "Gs" and decided to join I've had a G wagon since Aug 2004 a SWB 463 its in great condition and only use it on weekends and poor weather in the winter.

Nice G-Wagen you've got there.
Is it petrol or diesel and manual or auto?
Diesel manual 5 speed only thing missing is air con the six cly engine is very quiet smooth and thrifty around 22 mpg around the doors. Not the fastest but keeps up with the pack.

Thanks Hus55, Hot66 I live in the Whitby area and have only ever seen one G in the coop car park a LWB blue one. There seems to be allot of G owners in the south not many G sightings reported in the north, I don't go off road as my Gs on road tyres and I don't think there would be much grip think of the embarrassment of getting stuck!!. There is allot of useful information and knowledgeable people on this site, up to date I haven't had any big problems with my G apart from the unusual wear parts. Its done 150000 miles and the engine it very fit (Good compression)

Hi Griff welcome to the forum.. was the LWB 463 you saw in the Co-op car park dark blue metalic with a Brabus front grill and chrome nudge bars under the rear bumper ??
Expect to see my G wagen over near Whitby from time to time as I deal with some farmers over there :)

Yes fixwin38 it was s dark blue 463 with crome on the back can't remember when but it was a long time ago was it you? fredecosse Mines K898*** the old owner was in the G wagon club I got it Aug 2004.

Hi Griff sounds like the one I bought from Saltburn in the summer.LWB 463 diesel auto with aftermarket turbo.Brabus lookalike.previous owner had it from 1998.
