How much to do a batch, per wheel?
well i'll have a think and a chat with my machine shop about the cost, the Rims cost me £10 each are nice and strong being from a van (pugeot Boxer LWB) the machining should be quite easy and the longest job will be the welding. after all of it they will still be an easy to come by 8J x16 rim or wider. I checked they fit yesterday and i will now get the rest machined and split and some steel rolled. once i've made one and fitted a tyre i'll check fitment again and take some pics. Our baby is due any moment now so i might be delayed

Another wheel that you might like to try for this purpose is the MB100 Van wheel. No centre bore issues with this one.

i've had one modded (center hole machined) now so i can check they fit over the caliper then i can band them so they will be 8" wide then.
