460-wheels on a 463
Does alloys/wheels from a 460 fit on 463?
yes!
i saw a set of 7x15 460 alloys fitted on a 463 at a caversham g class dealer.
They do not have the correct offset.
Have a look at Haralds site http://www.rubicon-trail.com/G-Class/wheels/start.html
caversham had a 463 with 460 alloys and it looked strange to me too.....!!

They were 463 alloys, they look exactly the same
i have the proof on my phone mortinson, just wait till i download it and show over a 1000 of you members!!
and believe me i am no mechanic but i have a strong passion for alloys.
i was shocked to see them on the 463 and i commented on that G being the cleanest one caversham had on display, but i commented to the salesman that i wanted 463 alloys on it instead of the 460 alloys that stuck out a bit due to the offset.he said NO,its sold as seen!!
Hussein, you must be right then. I don't see any problem in fitting those wheels on a 463 other than the fact that they will stick out a little (they have lower offset than the originals.
Cheers
thanks for not being a stubborn donkey(there must be the same saying in spanish!)NO OFFENCE TAKEN I HOPE........!

Guys, there are 460 and 463 wheels which look the same:
460:
part number 46040100002, 7Jx15, offset 37mm
and 463 with:
p/n 4634010202, 7Jx15, offset 63mm
the wheels mercfan stated are not the same as each other.
top one has a slight dish(460)
bottom one has no dish(463)
here's the photo of the G i was being haggled to exchange my vito for.it had a tag of £14-15000!
the wheels were what caught my eye as not being 463 alloys and when i requested it have 463 alloys fitted the answer was "NO,BUY AS SEEN"
You are right Hussein, those are the 460 version.
My guess is that a previous owner replaced them with these so that the wheels would look wide (just an optical effec, given that the only difference between the two is the offset).
