where is the sunroof motor guy's???????????
does anyone know where the sunroof motor is on a 460 lwb???????????
its doing my head in!
If its the same as the 463, it will be on the rear LHS panel next to the rear door. ie on the left as you open the rear door. You will see a bulge in the panel compared to the rhs. Remove the panel by removing the surrounding trim and you will see the motor. You can operate the sunroof using a socket on the nut which is designed for the purpose.
No !
Sorry Bigbad, not much help.

You may have a retrofit sunroof not a factory fit check the Russian web site using your \VIN Numberin wihich case the engineering may be different.normally the are driven from a motor and drive cable which runs in a threaded block attached to the roof panel from a motor at the rear of the vehicle.might I suggest that the travel is stuck between modes due to dry guides and the fuse has blown from the overload.find the fuse... if it has blown beef it up the value a bit 15 to 20 amp for example and flick the switch this might get you out of the problem and then you can service the guides or let well alone if its shut..failing that the headlining has to come down to access the drive and guides and if the motor is whacked the whole assembly must be removed.lack of use / lubricant is the probable cause rgds
The 460's in general did not have s/roofs fitted. Any that may have been fitted, would have been retro-fits and the motors housed at the rear panel, usually at the nearside. The factory fits are also housed there, in case check your offside panel.
460's never came with sunroofs factory fitted. its a retro fit, nine times out of ten it would be directly behind the sunroof under the roof lining. there is a lot os space under the roof lining.
