my lambo-G-ni
i ordered a set of coils recently from a reputable place ( no names mentioned).
well, excitedly i had my G picked up by ELITE DIRECT in rainham essex(top blokes in there :D )
got a phone call at 12 noon and was told that one rear spring was snapped in one place and the other was snapped in 2 places
anyway the G arrived back to me at about closing time and my jaw dropped........... :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:
please give your opinions fellow members
ps i ended up fittind yokohoma geolanders on the front and have the rears fitted tomorow.( WHAT A FANTASTIC TYRE  )
how low do those lpg tanks want to be!
i kinda like it that low, obv defeats the object, but looks quite tidy. if you hit a speed bump right and catch that tank at the right angle, you'll be overtaking veyrons. well maybe a part of you liver and a bit of spinal chord will be!
that a very very nice 460 hussain
Hussein,
Is that the LPG tank protruding from the underneath of your G?
WOW!!!
Got some 13" wire wheels with carlos fandango tyres that would set the car off a treat along with a spare gallon or two of candy pink metalic paint & i`m sure i`v got some chrome sidewinder pipes here to finish the job,
Will be in the post on tues!!
dont you have poles in essex?
Can they clean?
Will you need some wheelie bars to stop the car flipping over with all the power of that merlin engine you have fitted?
Huss mate sort out the front suspension quickly because you might be
on the wrong side of the law with your lpg tank clearences.
mortinson; they are actually called time-bombs
i would have removed them if it wasnt for the advantage of low fuel costs.
plus i dont use it off road i guess to worry too much 8)
Yes, Huss, I appreciate that.
But can they not be relocated to the boot? Or better still, can twin tanks not be fabricated to fit where the exhaust boxes are located in a 463, i.e. either side of the frame?
They look horrible there IMHO.
Cheers
are these the same brand that Mr Holland sells?
Huss , When you have proper springs installed like my eichbachs (ORC) you will have proper clearence and when you have your side steps as well no one would be able to see your tanks unless they are HM customs and excise officers!!!
By the way I agree with Mortinson that in that particular foto those tanks really look awkward. I thing it is the angle of the shoot as well. And no you cannot fabricate them, unless you put smaller ones.
With my set up I have very good clearence really and i am not bothered with it at the moment. Where did you get those springs anyway?
I hope you know what you doing and good luck.
check my one
another one
hi mortinson, any ideas on a company that can fabricate these tanks :?:
arent my lpg tanks in the chassis area where the 463 silencers are anyway :?: (please send me pics of where you exactly mean.
I HATE WHERE THEY ARE TOO..... :!: :!:
the boot is no go area,as i dont want to waste valuable room in the G.
(I hope you are reading this shakir,it concerns you as well my friend  )
I saw pictures once of a G that had the tanks placed alongside the chassis rails. Obviously, they were smaller than those you have now but I think they exceeded a combined capacity of 60 litres. I know that this isn't much but i'd rather have reduced capacity than the potential danger of dragging the tank on a speed bump!
Can not get over how low them LPG tank are
I can see why you want to lift it , The lpg tanks I had on an other vehicle i owned  were long and thin so giving the imprestion thay were under the sills ..
Twodogs
Hi Hus,
Looks like a real clean tidy G , one to be proud of.
I also changed my rear suspension springs and shocks but mine is still level all round.
Personally I would not cope with the LPG tank so low, for me it would have to go somewhere else.
Otherwise love to see more pics.
One another note, I seem to remember seeing some pics of your red soft top on the forum somewhere but I now can't find them. Am I dreaming? If not could you point me in the right direction . Thanks !
Regards,
Mike
here are a few more pics of my orc rear / brabus V12 suspension set up :?
sorry about the pic size mr admin's
