Re: neat looking snorkel.

Check out Piggysimms G, somewhere on this site there is a picture of his with one each side. Looks very business like.

Re: neat looking snorkel.

I just saw that one very recently in an online catalogue... but now I can't find it. Someone else had posted a link to another item and I noticed that on one of the other pages.

That G belongs to a prominent member of the CMGE.

And that snorkel is made by Carlos Acosta of CSA.

As much as I would like one, it wouldn't do me much good without a lot of modifications unfortunately.... as another member proved!

Well you see I own a G300 TD and on this particular model the air intake is not up on the side where the snorkle fits as you would expect.... as was recently demonstrated...

yup - and I understand his was more dramatic..... but I figure that is not so fresh in people's minds (my own included)....

its actually happened to David twice - but he was only a passenger the second time. i understand the driver refused to accept responsibility and walked off...

Re: neat looking snorkel.

Be good to find out if they do one for the 300TD. The Schmude / ORC one's do fit vehicles fitted with a Webasto, but according to ORC theres a fair bit of work involved, compared to other G models.

Re: neat looking snorkel.

Nah,, was Rich's fault. If i didn't have to keep slowing down, so he could keep up, we would have overtaken that old LR much earlier
