Plastic covers for rear vents - proper name or part no?

Hello,

G owner for the last 18 months and just finished an extensive refurb inside and out of my 83 G. What's the correct name for the plastic covers that cover the rear vents - long, narrow vent on rear left and right of G in line with rear windows.

It looks like these parts just push/clip into place, I want to get them to finish the exterior job on the G - I need to know what they are called/part no and approx how much they will cost.

Any direction would be very much appreciated.

M/benz will recognise these as ORNAMENTS, I do not have the part numbers at hand but I will try and supply these tomorrow.

Ornaments are different for 463 chassis. You want the 460 part numbers and these are not handed.

It would be useful for you to renew the clips, the ornaments slide into.

Hi Ryano I have two out in the workshop for a 460 but both have one spike broken ...will find them in the morning and get you the part number rgds

Sorry for the delay, M/Benz are just as uncooperative to me as any of you.

I have the part numbers you wanted.

Ornament (Vent covers): A 460 698 00 89 - £7.49 each
Grommets (for Ornaments) A 000 988 14 27 - £0.42 each
