does anybody have one spare out of a 460? if so could they measure it and post me the dimensions ie: od, id, width and bore? im looking at buying them from oe manufacturer rather than merc depending on cost! 25 quid from merc and i need 8 ! so all other avenues persued!
cheers simon
I have one. Do you mean the thing that has two metal discs with rubber in the middle?
i've got several too i'll measure one when i get a minute
right i've measured one it looks right but it came with my G so i dont know if its the correct item (was in a MB bag)
Overall diameter 70mm x 40mm wide
center 16mm bore x 50mm wide
what poly bushes did you u use?
Good work!
Would be interested in finding out what you needed to do exactly on the lathe?
Andy
Thanks for photograph but sorry being a bit thick!
Can you draw the bush as purchased and then how you modified it!
Andy
Had some made to fit without mods, available now off the shelf.
Bill elaborate more on available 'off the shelf' - I interpret this to mean you have a supplier set up to supply these outside the Merc network. If so how do you go about ordering them?
I am having 10 sets made now I know that they do the job, I will price them up and they will be available as a kit from me to all G owners,
the kit will include roll bar and panhard bushes too.
Price?
TBA
An adjustable Panhard is being developed too.
Would the adjustable Panhard rod be in order to accommodate jacked up suspension kits, by any chance Bill? In which case, are there any adjustable, or re-jigged, radius arms being contemplated to correct the caster angle? Just a passing thought, y'know.
I look forward to seeing what else you may be quietly developing at the back of your shed.....
Hi Mike, long time.
Yep thats the plan, time some one did it control arms too, to dial castor back in, I think the solution will be fairly simple.
You should consider doing double cardon as well, to stop vibrations after lift :)
You dont need DCs to stop vibration after a lift.

What do we need then?
The stockist in the UK will be LA Supertrux. Nigel.
great news bill.....
now i just hope you give us a great price too :!: :!:

Hello there.
Have You got them poly bush kits yet??
If so, what is the price of them?? If not, what would be rough price??
I've got a chance to buy Whole set, maybe few deppending on price.
Looks like you are sorted Bart, you don't need my help. I'll keep my stock for less resourceful G friends.
If you are just looking for a guide price so you can bid on ebay without overpaying I'm afraid I can't help you, work it ouit yourself.
