Hello all!

I've 290GD it's 461 model and comes with only 1 differential locker on the rear axle. My front axle does not have place (support) for putting the locker pump on it so I guess I have to find another axle with such hole. I'm wondering something else. When I get the other axle it will be probably different than my current moving cycle (pinion and so on), it's currently 44/7. So I want to take the pinion and the other parts and to put them on the other axle where I will add the locker. Do I need something inside the axle that will be needed from the locker or I can just transfer all of my original parts to it and add the locker to the hole ... ?

Try looking into fitting an after market locker. ARB lockers are makers for some LandRover diffs and other cars, there might be a kit avaialble for the G-Wagen.

no way, what would be the point, just go factory fit.
