Lurches...
Advice needed....
When I took my 460 swb off the road in Jan to sort the body work I recall thinking that it sometimes lurched into corners?
Today while checking out rear braking function (see other posts) jacked up chassis and dropped axle to find drivers rear spring in three pieces (near top)!! That would account for lurch then!
So what do I do? replace rear springs with good second hand (if available)? Purchase some shiney new ones - cost?? or start thinking about a 2inch lift??
Anybody who has been through this process please advise on pro's / Con's cost.
Thanks in advance
Andy

For what it’s worth I wouldn’t bother with 2nd hand. I replaced (in hind sight totally sh**ed) springs and shocks with 40mm lift springs and Monroe shocks. Some have said monroes are at the budget end but I have found them to perform great on and off road. Cost around £50ea.
A 40mm lift seemed a good compromise, good drivability on road without messing too much with the geometry, a little bit of help off road, plus an aesthetic improvement. Given the dia. Of G anti roll bars, lurching even with a slight lift, is non existent when compared LR products :D :D
Hi S&M Springs 01775 712125 Srewart or Karl....for G' springs and Monroe shocks .....
