460 series speedo heads
Hi All I have just been informed by a dealer currently advertising a 280ge on Ebay (at silly money) that the odometer reading is 22.352 .and as the vehicle is advertised with a mileage of 72.000 + I asked how was this arrived at...the seller says he has a letter from MB Cheltenham stating that whilst the speedo needle reads in miles the odometer reads in kilometers !!! does anybody have any awareness of this phenomena or am I hearing "porkie pies"
