Re: Military snorkel on my 280

Hi I have some new Unimog snorkels...perhaps a bit overkill for a G' but you could probably "cut and shut" so to speak...not expensive either ....

Just did my 350, kit from Schmude, €85-00 delivered in two days fitted in less than 1 hour, no drilling the body or cutting holes no making anything up, just plug and play. :D

Re: Military snorkel on my 280

Thought it was :)

I travel that road quite often, but usually in my company hack on my way to see farmers on the Ingleton side. I should hopefully be passing there in the G wagon soon so I'll take a piccy.

Here's a piccy of my other toy in the same location :)

Re: Military snorkel on my 280

Its a 463 350 GDT 1996 first registered, former Bergwacht Stuttgart Naturschutz vehicle, "National Parks Warden" it is over maitained 195k kms in total 85k kms on the current MB factory exchange engine and gearbox, having had the work done and servicing as appropriate it exceeded its maintenance budget in the following 12 months and so was cast, Local government at work saving tax payers money, MB were happy to supply a new 290, only one glum point, they kept the winch.
