i was told by someone today that the gears in the transfer case are always in motion while the G is rolling.
is this true :?:
if so, a gear oil change is advisable due friction,heat etc.

Hi should be Hypoid SAE 80 weight oil which may be hard to find so SAE90 weight is often used NOT ATF like I found in one transfer box......
