There are lots of Gs in the area. I've seen a G500 Silver Cabrio up there as well.

Never seen the silver cab unfortunately, very rarely see any G's around here. It's all Land Rovers of some description. :(
Only regularly see an old green D Reg going up and down the Broadway from time to time. Saw G 500 * a few weeks back parked up by the playing fields near Highgate station. Very nice!

There are a lot of G500 * as a dealer bought the whole run of them and was offering them with new G500s back.
I'm down near Angel and there are always a few parked around there.

A Number plate. As Maxwell said, a known dealer once bought a load of registrations along the lines of G 500 * and sold them along with the G500's in his inventory.
ohhhh! That explains why I could not find any when I was looking and why the ones I did find were a tad expensive!

Yes they run the whole allowable alphabet range.... G500 J was for sale on the forum recently for a bargain £300.
But a G500 in Crouch End? I suspect you will get trouble for that....

I think it's (and all 500's) somewhat beyond my means however.
Which could be a blessing in disguise as I wouldn't want the Crouch End lynch mob after me! I reckon they would be more annoyed about something in the neighbourhood showing up their LRs (there's an awful lot around here) before they even got to worrying about emissions! I think as long as it's covered in mud, or has an LR badge, they wont come after you.

That's because it sits in a garage most of the time... you might see Mark's around though. He is a bit closer to you. Though having said that my G does make the run to la Porchetta every so often.

Get the same thing here in Beaconsfield! :cry: but, I say two fingers to them and I don't complain about their PERSONAL choice, why should they complain about mine, or as I said to one person;
'Is that why YOU got a LR, to be look the rest?' :P
They generally get the hint and start having a decent conversation, ganging up on the Fundagreenies
