OK..not only are my brakes shot, my head hurts, lost another rear number plate and totaled my near side rear bumper...I've dinted my fuel tank.

What sort of protection is available for it?

Not hitting solid immovable objects...............like the earth

Sorry no useful info. I've not seen any off the shelf protection but it's a pretty simple piece of steel that would be easy to get fabricated out of something sturdier. But then the ground is pretty unforgiving

Re: Tank Protection

Hi Paul it is relatively easy to fabricate a skid panel but there is very little to attach a plate to that will withstand direct vertical impact..awareness of the terrain (walking the route) is probably the best way to minimise damage in the tank area.....

Oh....I know where I did the damage...my mate addmitted to digging out the exit of a wooden bridge with his back wheels! Didn't see the hole as it was full of water!

Cheers
