silver lwb with dark glass heading into London from Oxford lunchtime today - in the fast lane naturally - not quite the right plate as I tried it on the London Congestion Charge website, but nearly right I think

I was in my wife's ML so didn't flash

Cheers Mike

If it was V8 GWO and it was tectite grey then it was Spiders... especially if it was in the fast lane.

Not bad eyes for a quick glance, got to be an enthusiast. My order of looking at passings Gs is; steering wheel position and driver (exchange wave if appropriate), plate, location of grill on the side of air intake, mods, tyres, general condition and then any thing else of interest. I can do all that in 5 seconds if necessary

yep I reckon that was the one - I was heading north in the fast lane and the G was steaming south also in the fast lane so the closing speed was a lot. I used to have "I spy number plates" 40 years ago so I guess the habit has stuck - albeit I got this one wrong!

I guess spider can confirm if he was indeed out and about

cheers - thanks for the piccy post really good

Well at last!!! I finally make it on 'Who's G is that?' :P

You did well to see the plate, not far off - will have to make the 'V' more distinctive

I was being a bit silly as I was proving a somewhat hollow point! You see there was this Range Rover Vogue, a blond driver, a nice smile and a very male point to prove!

I was up at Bicester Village, and as I was getting in the G, I could hear a voice saying ' Yes, nice car, but looks slow.....' - the blond.

I looked at her, smiled, looked at the RR and shook my head.... the rest is history as they would say..... She was a demon driver. Good..... but NOT good enough! 8)

Needless to say Lions 1, Christians nil......

So who is your 'Second'? :)

I was actually thinking of something closer and sooner- but let me see what the family say. Francesca is up for it already!
