transfer mounting

Hi all,
I am looking for instructions how to adjust the reinforcment bracket (No 240 of the following image). It was broken and after welding I have to put it back, any points on that?

I believe that the reason of damage was the incorrect adjustment.

I do not think there is any adjustment to the stabaliser frame, they do break, I have a few welded my self.

Angele,

There is no adjustment as the bar comes in one piece (one part number). The only adjustment is on item 300 bolted on 246 (on you picture) but I don't think you can do much with it.

For some reason Mercedes do not make these bars indestructible, maybe because they are afraid that if the bar doesn't break, it will break something else which is more expensive !!

I'm on the 3rd weld ... and counting ...

Thank you for response,
I an very happy now as I am in my 1st welding :shock:
I will leave it as it is, I tried to keep it with no tension when I have installed it.
