A very embarassing day....
So there I was in my G going up one of the lanes the G-Day had posted earlier with the flipped landrover.
Feeling very good about myself for getting up in my shiny with only a slight scrape to the running boards using road tires and on what can only be described as a rather quite steep and very tippy trail; successfully navigated primarily due to Piggy's expert guidance. :D
When lo and behold what comes bombing up without a break in stride???? A mini van full of kids with curtains and a tv in it....
Will post pics of this embarassment later.
Ah well at least you did it Maxwell, I chickened out of taking my shiny one up that lane
Done it a few times in the crusty one though (its only a stones throw from where we live) and it would be very easy to get it wrong!
Just as well it wasn't a 2CV or you would have been classed with these morons:

Yes, and then with a huge grin, PP asked the others why they kept stopping.
Still, having a Mitsi Delica along on the lanes, was not as embarassing as having this pitched next door.

Today on the way to Nottingham, I was flashed at by a Phantom very similar to the above...wonder if it was anyone on here...
hehe, this one was slowed down by 2 cars in front, on a single-carriageway country lane, maybe he was just trying to move them out of the way (i was going in the opposite direction)
Unfortunately the pics of the mini van didn't turn out.... and not sure if anybody else got any.
Russ - Can't remember if it was you or G-Day who was talking about the advantages of the G being so narrow but there was a Discovery following us which got caught due to its width.
