Quick Q...where is cheapest source for these (new) and any idea what brand the OEM tire is?

Probably from MB if you want new ones.
I think there were about two or three different OEM tires. Depending on year, country etc etc

Think the std OE tyre generally was the Yokohama 265/60x18. This is only available in one pattern in this size so you can't go wrong.
