I have a 1991 300 gel so an early 463. Where is the heater fan speed control resisitor located in this model. :?: Can we get a part number? Even MB got confused which part is the right one.
I have read the previous post and my resistor is not in the engine bay , I have the wiper motor located there.
let me know if you need the chassis

Hi does the fan run at any speed ? was it noisy at any time ? do you have aircon?.....

Hi,
Fan runs at 3 and 4, used to run on 2 until recently (no 1 is dead also) , but went silent suddenly when the aircon was on. When you put it on 2 aircon comes on , but without blower it is not any good, strange enough when you put it on 3 aircon stops but fan comes on ???????
My aircon man said the resistor is kaput.
there was no noise from the fan at all, only normal operating noise.
