G Servicing in and around London
Can anyone recommend a place to take the G for servicing or work around London? Im actually thinking of keeping my servicing going with Merc just for the service history, but getting the bigger jobs that may pop up though a specialist. I would have chosen George Fasier but after hearing about what they have been up to I thought I had better find someone else.
Any suggestions?
Call Gordon Francis at MB Brooklands. his number is 01932 373 404. He is the service Team leader and they have been wonderful. Tell him Joe Askew has recmended that you should give him a call.
If you have all the MB stamps they will apply the standard discounts for loyalty - 20% on labour and 10% on parts.

MB Brooklands are based Nr Weybridge and if you book with a few weeks notice, I am sure that they can organise a temo car for you as well

I'm in Islington. But if you are near Kingston then go to Brooklands.
Hi Have been using Klasse of Fulham in London and have been impressed so far..new ignition barrel and glow plugs..at a reasonable price and service...

My G is coming out of storage and that engine of mine still needs a good looking at...
Don't go to Klasse of Fulham in London! They are rip off and unable to solve the actual problems rather bill you for unnecessary work. You have been worn.
This is a bit random on a 4 year old thread. But I guess the feedback is based on recent experience, so good to know. Things do change.
I agree new info is handy for newbies.
I used to use Simon Light in Ware, they have had many G's in the past inc. G300's and G400cdi and 500GE-94 model, they know their stuff.
And aren't so expensive.

I go to Ian Matthews ( mercedes specialist) who is just of the m25 j6. What that man dose not know about Mercedes is not worth knowing.
I will only go to Auto Precision in Goldrrs Green.
