Head lights coming on when i break
Hi,
Can anyone tell me why my headlights are coming on when i brake?

main beam or dip?
check your trailer socket on the back, see if its corroded and check for any breaks in the cable, had a similar problem on one of our vans.

Sorry for late reply! I had a look at the trailer socket and the leads. The socket seems new and no rust/damp/water etc and the leads have no cuts in them.
Any other ideas? If this is any help i took all the lights out (back and front) when repairing my car and it didnt do it before that!!!

Would appear you have introduced a power feed to dipped headlights from the brake light positive feed start by removing one wire at a time from each of the rear light clusters or meter the dipped headlight feed with the headlight switch on and off...could take you a while......
