Just a quick one, have been looking through your Forum & it looks like a lot of after market fabricated Exhausts for the G Wagon, are built as a side exit !. When we fabricate G Wagon Exhaust Systems, we go where the original Exhaust goes, as in through the rear gap & yes it's tricky, but we manage it !

Hi they are only "over the top" on the 460 models.. all the 463s are side entry ex factory... something to do with TUV regulations and the exhaust supplier who must have contracted to supply the exhaust system "by the metre"... side entry on the 460 300D turbo conversions helps the turbo breathe properly by using larger bore pipe which will not go "over the top" of the fuel tank......

Thanks for the Information. We must have done the 460 Models here then so far. I know they were tricky little devils !
