Hello to all !!

just joined the forum today.

I have bought 1994 300GE silver few weeks ago which is a my first car ever. (Yes, I do not have much knowledge about the car as well as G wagens.)

I am very much look forward to gaining knowledge here and to enjoy my life with my lovely G wagen.

Welcome to GWOA. Word of advice, be patient with the car, it gets better with time! Then you can't live without it.
First registered in 1994? That was the year they switched to G300s I think.

Yes, mine was first registered in 94 Feb. could be the one of the last 300GE registered before the change.

By the way I'm from Japan. Am I the only Japanese forum user here?

So far seems like you're the only active member from Japan, I've seen another members gallery (tk909) with some great cars in Japan but he/she is not currently active on the forum.

There are so many G wagens in Japan. and all parts seems to be a lot cheaper there for some reasons. I have just bought Front and Rear bumper end caps for 30 pounds.(second hand of course but in mint condition)

Oh yes, one of the reason that I joined here was that people here are very friendly. my wife and dog are very happy that I joined here too.
my G is not in the best conditions as I have been very busy since the purchase. wanna spend more time with my G....

I went to a place called Wertech for skiing last year... stayed there for 10 days and saw no G... but I saw 2 suzuki SJs...

2.9 gd engine ,transmission & axles :lol:
samurai with 112" wheelbase 3-link front and rear with panhard bar :roll:

i am not sure of the outcome though :lol: time will show

yeah!, SJs are fun to drive round country lanes... another great Japanese product! ;);)

Oh Onushi, it was great that you got the end cap for £30... I reversed into a lamp pole a while back and dented my right rear cap.... :-( :-( MB quoted me £158 for it!! Luckily it popped back out a few days after!

would be nice to try south bayern, baden-wuertenberg area when I have a chance next time.

I was very lucky to get those for 30pound, I am using yahoo auction japan for cheap find. and you are very lucky to have that thing popped back to normal!!!
