whats up everybody,
ive been considering a g-wagon for awhile and am looking at a 300d manual, is there any specific issues on this model i should look out for?

also what are the pros and cons on auto/manual?

thanks in advance for your help and i look forward to getting my g and getting into some adventuring!!

Hello!

If i were not mistaken, I think many of the 460s' back door (only the very bottom part) have a rust problem. At least my old one had it...

automatic diesels exceptionally rare as 460 and fairly rare as 463's

it all depends what sort of milage you are going to do and
How much you want to spend and if it needs to be on irish plates

@Iphong- as it happens ur right on the money, the btm of the door is rusty! but seems repairable.

@foneman- i dont plan on using the wagon as a day to day vehicle, so the annual mileage wont be high. maybe a couple of trips a year.

ive always had the impression that MB autos were far better than the manuals, just wondered if this applied to the G?
