Bump stop repair. Neat job.
Member on here brought a car to me, having failed the Irish equivalent of our MOT for a few things.
Had a poke around the back end and the rubber bumpstop fell out!!....housing totally rotten.
Professing NO skill with a welder....dropped it down to my mate Gary who carried out a quite a repair, including a drilled and tapped hole!: See below.
A bit of structural welding and a nip at a front bearing...Should sail thru now.
