Hi All,
I am about to replace the clutch in my 463 and wondered if anyone has experiance of anything other than the original MB parts or do i stay with them?

Also should I replace thrust bearing and plate, is there anything else?

Many thanks
Murph

pressure plate friction disc and thrust /release bearing..not much point is leaving anything to chance..and while you have the G'box on the floor fit a new slave cylinder and flush the old hydraulic oil out of the system with Dot 4 + oil...might be a good tiime to replace the rubber bushes in the selector arms and remove the old grease from the intermediate drive shaft and grease with a "red glitter" grease until the crosses and slide ooze the red grease.... then you know the old grease and water has gone...well!! you did ask

WOW!

What a great reply and that all seems good to me so I guess still run with the MB original replacement parts?

Many thanks
