Has any one used koni shock absorbers on there G and are ther any good?

the best !! there are long discussions here. please check my posts, there was a long write up on the heavy track raids i had on my 280 gel.howard green, shakir and Isa [mortinson] run on konis.

By the way... should we get 585mm or 635mm? I don't want extra lift or lower the body... 'as normal as possible' is what I want...

just go for the standard konı heavy tracks.

keep them on the softest setting and adjust as they become too soft.

they will last forever

hmmm... is changing shocks a DIYable job or not? Just asked my new local MB and they want to charge me €238 for the labour!!!

You cant make a mistake, the only thing is tight bolts, but £19.95 will sort that out.

It takes me less than an hour to do, and I am no mechanic.

They will not take long to fit i changed all mine on my old Toyota in no time. Thank for in info i will fine out which one's they are and go from
there as they are coming as part of a 40mm lift kit. :lol: :lol:

300 TD - 463 New Shocks- Which ones to go for?

 After 76k miles mine are a little rocky now...would you just recommeded repalcing with standard OEM from the year/model..or are there some that are better recommended...not looking to change ride height etc, perhaps a touch softer though..
Cheers for any thoughts.
