463 Door mirrors
I have managed in the past three years of ownership to break both door mirrors. The near side and driver side has snapped the metal bit that attaches to the mirror housing. They are secured using liquid metal for the moment. Can these be repaired or will I need to buy two replacements?
I also need mirror glass for the drivers side.

I think you do need two replacements. Somebody (probably a van driver) broke my driver side mirror off earlier this year, i had to buy a replacement mirror stand/frame off ebay.de, which costed €145. I think it costs £280 from MB, plus you have to buy the mirror piece separately.

The word for the wing mirror in German is 'aussenspiegel'
