Green 460 (?) A49 going south
at Marshbrook, just below Church Stretton...............nearly missed seeing you - thanks for the wave (I assume that's what it was!)
was a lady driving the 500? mine has a bull bar and was black but im pretty sure it was me cause i did wave and flash(my lights lol) were abouts are you based? thanks Oli
well i wasn't wearing my glasses so i did only guess, dont know about handsome, but young indeed, i am 20 years young. there are a few of us, i dont no russ or you but a mr john sankey has a white 463 at ratlighope if im not mistaken, i have sold him some unimog parts over the years, and richard was kind enough to extensively help me in my restoration/rebuild of my 460 so we are quite well acquainted now. i dont beleive that your in church stretton. i have lived and worked in and around there for 10 years now and never seen the 500,(does it only emerge on special occassions?) i even went to church stretton school and never saw it!
Been here over 3 years, had this G for the last 2 of those - have met the Ratlinghope contingent and Richard (at Shelsley Walsh where he had camped near my G to see whose it was, so I nearly fell over him!), but not the others altho if they were at the AGM may have seen them. G is used regularly, so will probably see you again, and maybe I'll be awake enough to wave next time! Seem to spend most time walking the onelab these days on the Mynd.

Hi Oli. Yes it was me in my 500 - not sure about the lady tag, but female anyway - u must be the very handsome young guy who was driving then ?????? Shropshire's Gs are looking up - that's me, you, two live other side Long Mynd and Russ and Richard - who else! (Sorry about the car colour change - the green I saw was probably due to the light in all the downpours we've had and staring at the back of the eejit in the red car I was following) Am in Church Stretton area - no match for Cyprus.
