Can you please tell me if a Command Unit from a newer G will fit and function in my 92 463

you would probably need to fit the complete dashboard from a later vehicle as well, but the electrical questions that would pose would be staggering. Why not just get a plug in sat-nav?

I agree with prwales, plus the fact that other than the handbuilt/custom made dash in the G55K, there are no RHD dashes for the command unit.

In which case you're better off just buying a 2001 LHD G from Germany with it already in....

Also if you decided to retrofit you would probably loose 90% of the functionality other than the radio and sat nav....
