460 or 463? I'm pretty sure the connections to the power steering pump were handed on my 280 so a box for a LHD would presumably be a mirror image. That said, they're only connections to pipes, the pipework may well be routed differently to meet up with the same box on a LHD. If not it could always be re-routed. The 'in' from the steering column and 'out' to the Pitman arm are central...I think....might want to hold out for someone who knows what they're talking about though!

cant see how they would be, a lh box would have to bolt onto the inside of the chassis rail...
why would you need another one, just buy a seal kit!

Is it missing one atm then? I think what Mick means is, if there's one there, just get it refurbed.

Crikey, no power steering in a G. I can imagine why he'd want to upgrade.

Ive driven one with out power steering, there not as bad as you would think, still I get why he wants to retro fit though!!
as I said already, unless the lhd box bolts onto the inside of the chassis rail you cant move a rhd one over because it bolts to the out side, to bolt a rhd box to a lhd G on the outside of the chassis rail you would have to turn it around.....and then the steering shaft going in into the box would face towards the front.

Point taken. Presumably the chassis rail wouldn't have the holes in it either?
