I was in a blue rhd 463 lwb... you were in a black lhd one. You pulled up beside me on my right near King's Cross and you gave me compliments on my blue colour (you said you'd never seen anything like it before). I blushed and admired your side trim and your new, beautiful AMG g55 rims... you told me you'd had your spare yoinked by some yobs recently. We both agreed that we, as G owners, had the best taste in London.

The signal changed and I followed you down Euston Road until it became Marylebone Road... I turned off into Regents Park and you kept going down the road towards Baker Street.

My wife, her brother, and his girlfriend thought it was the funniest, yet coolest thing they had ever experienced in traffic. I was just happy to chat with another G owner. Oddly, I saw two more Gs that day (from afar), but they were both 460s.

Would love to know if you're on these forums. In any case, was great to meet you and share a chat! Long live the G!!! 8)

Happy driving!

Hi Mate,

I saw this posting in the forums a couple of weeks ago. Maybe this is the person you are looking for?

Did not know Simon Bates was a g-owner... sounds like something from 'Our Tune' (now I am dating myself! :D

But if it were an LHD in Black, very dodgy looking person driving, can only think it would be Ferdi....... :P Am sure that neck of the woods is his 'Manor'
