460 Inner Wing
Anyone know the UK price of the 460 inner wing ?

Saw your ad, but it's easier to get these problems fixed here. Are you sure your front end has no rust?
Note you can rebuild them .. on EPC it lists the panels that make up the inner wing. I just redid mine using flat steel before I found them.
Likewise you can buy the parts that make up the outer wing e.g. headlight bowl.
Yes, I asked MB about the two pieces at the front, which were the worst problem and one side was on backorder and could take a month to deliver. I had a local welder repair them and he did a great job.
Now I have to refit them and I'm waiting for some MB body sealing tape to arrive, not sure if it's the right stuff until I see it but I'm hoping I've ordered the inch wide rubber strip that goes between the shell and the inner wing. If anyone has p/n's for the body sealing stuff I would be grateful.

Make sure you tell the dealer you need it is 1.2m lengths. Mine gave me a 1m and 2m length when I ordered 3m so I had to complain to get a second 2m length.
Thanks for that, it would come in useful but I need the strip that seals the inner wing to the shell. I managed to save the P profile that goes between the inner and outer wing.
The piece I'm looking for doesn't appear on the EPC, my dealer found a sealing tape which is like sponge the right width and compresses to nothing, one side is adhesive. I'll put that on and see how it goes, it will stop vibration or rubbing which I guess is the idea of the rubber strip.
Ah that bit... I got some generic Rubber strip .. not foam (well maybe closed cell) as you do not want it holding water; I used one of these!;
I think the 8mm Butyl Rubber.
