Is it possible to fit a 6 foot mattress in the rear of a LWB G wagen ?

I saw the 400000km G in one of this month's 4x4 magazine, where there is a feature on G wagen history, and noted the makeshift bed built into the rear compartment.

You would have to take the rear seats out as it just short of 6ft with them folded down, but thats not difficult to do.

The 4x4 magazine he's talking about is "4x4 Magazine", http://www.4x4i.com/index.html here, it has a Silver SWB G on the front cover, cant miss it.
